Settlement Housing Fund, Inc. (SHF) is a nonprofit organization which creates and sustains high quality affordable housing and programs, building strong and economically diverse neighborhoods throughout New York City. SHF works closely with community partners to provide low- and moderate-income New Yorkers with pathways to long-term affordable housing, education, employment and wellness. SHF currently owns approximately 1,700 units of affordable housing in 30 buildings, located in the Bronx, Manhattan, and Brooklyn.

SHF is seeking an Asset Manager to oversee physical, financial, and regulatory compliance issues at our projects. The Asset Manager will work closely with contracted property managers, SHF Fiscal and General Counsel, and (where applicable) SHF field staff.

The Construction Superintendent coordinates all site construction activities and supervises all field personnel as required to successfully complete all projects on schedule and within budget.  This includes maintaining the highest quality and supervising all trade and field personnel, while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities.  The incumbent will also maintain the job site office and closes out projects. 

The person in this role will report to the Project Manager on a daily basis and to the Executive Director of Construction.

Richman Property Services, Inc. a rapidly expanding national residential Property Management company is currently seeking a hands-on, exceptional and highly motivated Tax Credit Compliance Specialist responsible for monitoring the resident files of a portfolio of affordable housing communities for regulatory and company policy compliance.


The Tax Credit Compliance Specialist will provide support at various communities with on-site visits and serve as the point of contact for compliance issues. Utilize knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations relevant to affordable multi-family housing, Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and HUD programs to evaluate projects and provide assistance to ensure property managers are compliant.
